Marna

I am a visual artist living in Amsterdam. My goal is to demonstrate the confusion and need to comprehend what to me appears to be unwritten rules in my surroundings and society. Besides researching visual elements like color and composition, I experiment intuitively with materials and materiality to enhance my wonder. With photography as a starting point, I visualize my attempts to understand my experience of feeling like an observer and an outsider. Striving to provide an understanding of neurodiversity and to recognize that there is no one ‘right’ way of thinking or acting.
